40-50 miler. Nice steady pace. Hope to see some of you out there. (weather permitting).

4th Of July Road Ride

Okay Everyone,
The time for the third annual 4th of July Bike-N-Breakfast ride to
Seward is quickly approaching.

The Time : 7:00AM July 4th
The location: Meet at The Mill coffee house in the Haymarket
The Ride: We will ride out to the firehouse in Seward and then back.


This will be a relaxing pace, no hammers allowed. You hammer, you buy
for everyone. We will end up at the firehouse in Seward where they have an
annual free will donation pancake feed. There we will gorge ourselves then
we can hang out, ride back, do whatever. Ride time should be around an hour
and a half to get out there.

Hope to see everyone there.

***ALL riders welcome. Ride usually goes out to Cortland and back. Sometimes different routes. This is a great group ride for all roadies.

PERFECT WEATHER for a Wednesday night ride. No excuses! (ok-maybe some).
Time: 5:45pm @ S.27th & HWY2 (North Bench)
AND 6pm @ JoyRide bicycles (S.14th & Old Cheney)
This is a NO RIDER LEFT BEHIND RIDE.
ALL WELCOME. HELMETS are STRONGLY/HIGHLY Recommended.

Who in the world is Phil Keoghan, and why is he riding across America? He's best known for hosting the US version of The Amazing Race on CBS since it came out in 2001. Now he's on a triple mission to 1) raise money for multiple sclerosis, 2) promote bicycling, and 3) introduce a new food product called "NOW One Square Meal".

Roca Rollers

A few folks are going to meet at 10:30 am Saturday at the bench at 27th and Highway 2 to ride the Roca rollers. We'll decide at the time whether we want to ride out to Bennett first, then back through Roca, or through Roca first before going out to Bennett. The more people we have, the easier it will be to hide from the wind - all are welcome.

Le Tour de Husker will be held on April 18/19th 2009 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The weekend includes 2 criteriums and one team time trial.
